Originally named Zippelin which was taken from the word “Zeppelin” and also taken from the word “zip” postal code, to describe the company’s core business. But changed to Zipeli after a year due to copyright from another brand.

Zipeli is a fast-growing tech startup that connects third-party delivery apps and online businesses in The Philippines.

They are neither a delivery provider, nor a POS system – they are the hub between them. In order to help business owner manage and control their item delivery and takeout operations more efficiently, we integrate their delivery partnerships

I was tasked with creating a new purpose and identity that could shift Zipeli’s brand perception from a traditional “SaaS” to a modern tech company relentlessly dedicated to transforming the practice of food ordering and restaurant industry in general.

Solution
I designed an ambitious new brand from scratch, giving Zipeli one clear identity sending a strong signal internally and externally about the company they strive to become.

We talked to hundreds of internal and external stakeholders to develop the purpose: “we chase the simplicity of delivery and order management to improve their workflows during pandemic time”, which captures the social impact and business outcome that an easy management of ordering and delivery platform can have for both restaurant owners and their customers.

The logo is a representation of Zipeli’s new purpose and ambition, inspired by the simple and motion-oriented time of the tech, delivery and food industry.

To activate the new brand, I also developed tone of voice, marketing campaigns and a brand launch video featuring how it works.
